Röda Sten Konsthall offers two uniquely designed three-day workshops for those who are eager for a creative boost in artistic creation. The content is based on the artistic practices showed in the Summer Exhibition. Participants have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the interesting environment at Röda Sten Konsthall while experimenting with exciting art materials and developing new ideas together with like-minded individuals. A memory for life!
If you are 18 years and older, you can join a three-day workshop inspired by artist Josefin Lindskog’s artwork in this summer’s exhibition at Röda Sten Konsthall. Josefin Lindskog participates during the first day of the workshop.
In her work process, the artist Josefin Lindskog processes experiences of frustration, powerlessness and limitations of living in a (female) body and finding a place for her existence. Based on these questions, Lindskog creates large-scale drawings and textile sculptures.
Together we will work thematically for three days and explore materials and techniques such as cyanotype on textiles and wood. Cyanotype is a form of cameraless photography in which a material like fabric or paper is coated with a chemical mixture that creates an image after exposure to the sun’s UV rays.
The workshop also includes drama exercises, conversations and coffee breaks.
No previous knowledge is required.
Send an e-mail with name and contact information to email@example.com latest the 9th of June.
Welcome to our three-day workshop, where we will try performance art, writing poetry and making collages related to Nontokozo Tshabalala’s work in the Summer Exhibition at Röda Sten Konsthall.
